The great trio Brutus from Belgium releases its second album "Nest" on the British label Hassle Records. The album was recorded at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, Canada, directed by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung, Baptists). Their 2017 album "Burst" earned them various international awards and fans ranging from Lars Ulrich of Metallica to Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro. They toured with Chelsea Wolfe, Russian Circles and Thrice
Drummer Stefanie Mannaerts has fully embraced her role as vocalist and drummer, and plays her full range of diverse talent to the fullest on the album. The raw energy of her emotional vocals is reflected in the tribalistic drumming, just as tender whispers reflect the gentle role of percussion in other places.
